    • The Spring Branch ISD Communications Department shared a video spotlighting SBISD being awarded the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) District of Distinction Award for its leadership in promoting visual arts within the district and the community.

  • Recognition of Sally Doyle as 2022 TAEA Outstanding Art Educator in Administration View agenda item 4B │View video item 4B
    • Sally Doyle, SBISD Visual Arts coordinator, was recognized by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) as the 2022 Outstanding Art Educator in Supervision/Administration. The award recognizes educators who significantly contribute to TAEA and to art education on the state, local and/or national level. 

 

  • Recognition of SBISD as TAEA District of Distinction Award Winner View agenda item 4C │View video item 4C 
    • For the second consecutive year, Spring Branch ISD has been awarded the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) District of Distinction Award for its leadership in promoting visual arts within the district and the community. Out of 1,200 school districts throughout Texas, only 59 received the honor, putting the SBISD Visual Arts program in the top 5% in Texas. The Visual Arts department, including Houston Hayes, SBISD director of Performing and Fine Arts, and Sally Doyle, Visual Arts coordinator, were recognized for their outstanding efforts.
