Private Tours
At the Altharetta Yeargin Art Museum subject matter
comes alive in a tangible way through the coordination
of exhibits and activities with school curricula. The
Museum is meaningful and relevant to all grade levels
and areas of academia. It offers learning opportunities
and cultural advantages to the entire youth and adult
community in West Houston.
Private tours of the Altharetta Yeargin Art Museum are
available for groups of 10 or more.

TOURS FOR PRIVATE SCHOOLS
AYAM offers a second grade Study Trip experience at
the museum. Entitled “Pottery in World Cultures”, the
study trip includes an age-appropriate film on famed
potter Maria Martinez, a tour around the world via our
3 galleries, and an art project in our classroom. The
tour curriculum is tied to TAKS objectives in social
studies, as well as vocabulary and art components.
90 students can be accommodated at a morning (9:30-11)
or afternoon (12-1:30) session.
