Administration Building receptionist, Maria Garza, has kept Lucy busy with a project downstairs while employees gather in secret for the suprise. She escorts Lucy through the door of the cafeteria.

As unsuspecting Lucy enters the room, her fellow emloyees greet her with surprise news that she is the SBISD January employee of the month!

Dr. Duncan Klussmann gives a hearty congratulations to Lucy and invites her to the next meeting of the Board of Trustees where her honor will be formally recognized.

He asks if she was surprised and she exclaims " I was with Maria working on a project she said was for you!"

Everyone enjoys a few moments to share cake and congratulations.
