 Her nomination read, in part:

“Dora helps the whole school when called upon and she does so with a willing manner and a smile. She is quick and efficient at her job. Our school is almost spotless, and Dora helps keep it that way.

She is the first person at school in the morning. She is prompt, efficient and works extremely hard to accomplish all that is necessary to make a school run smoothly every day. Never have I seen Dora with a sour disposition or heard her complain about her work, even when it is overwhelming.

She is responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly and supportive climate at our school. She demonstrates a positive attitude and exhibits high expectations for all. Dora asks nothing of us, and yet gives of herself every day. We all learn from her caring manners and sensitive nature with our students.

It is an honor for our school to have an employee of her magnitude.”
