SBISD January 2007 Employee of the Month Paul Clarbull Technician Technology Services

His nomination read, in part:

“The Technology Services Department has been under a great amount of pressure due to staffing cuts and changes. Paul has made the extra effort to maintain a positive outlook and successfully work through adverse circumstances.

For example, the Child Nutrition Services Department uses a unique software system which can be complicated. Many others have tried and failed to maintain our equipment. Paul has taken the challenge and excelled. When it comes to feeding our children in a timely manner, every second counts. Paul counts the seconds for us.

This past summer, Paul was promoted to the networking side of the department. This was in the midst of Child Nutrition Services purchasing new computers and updated POS software for each cafeteria. Paul took the initiative to plan the new installation while finalizing the responsibilities of his old job and taking on his other new responsibilities..

Paul has proven to be extremely dependable. He is never too busy to take a call, is always pleasant and smiling even when things are not great. He never complains or gossips and is very proud of his work in Spring Branch. We are proud of him, too!”
