His nomination read, in part:

“Moises leads by example in a quiet, respectful manner. He understands what needs to be done, instructs his staff on how to do it and works alongside his team members in a shared commitment of keeping our campus safe and clean.

He is everywhere, tending to everything and everybody’s needs with a smile on his face and a positive demeanor. He is punctual and prepared to carry out his duties from the time he enters our school until he leaves in the evening. He has built relationships with teachers and peers by providing a caring, encouraging environment.

Moises is patient with all students when cleaning up their spilled milk or dropped trays in the cafeteria. He shows by example that a clean campus reflects pride in our school. He continually shows students he cares about them and their learning.”
