Her nomination read, in part:

“Rita is a member of the evening custodial team and continually exemplifies excellence in her position. She is genuinely committed to support and serve at every opportunity presented to her. She is inventive and tireless in her efforts to help others.

Perhaps the quality Rita exemplifies which most defines her is an ever-positive spirit in any situation. She is an extremely hard worker who cares about her job and the students, staff and parents. I can’t even imagine her complaining about a problem or causing anyone to feel they had been a bother to her.

Rita is a major reason why her campus is a clean, safe, inviting venue for district and community events. She is always smiling and willing to do more than you ask of her. She is an exceptional resource and an excellent ambassador for her school and the school district.”
