Spring Branch ISD
November 2004
Volunteer of the Month

Ms. Julie Dougher
Spring Shadows Elementary

Julie Dougher has served as Spring Shadows PTA president for two years. She exemplifies what a contributor to our community really is. Along with her numerous PTA responsibilities, she is a full time volunteer and is also a substitute for the district when there is need for it. Those close to Ms. Dougher describe her as extremely dedicated, hard working, tireless, committed, trustworthy and self-sacrificing.

Always there to help at anytime for any teacher, Julie also finds innovative ways for PTA fundraising and various activities and programs for the campus. These include ordering and distributing school supplies and spirit shirts, helping with book fairs and field day and even spreading mulch to help beautify the campus. Julie's husband and three young children fuel her ambition for an outstanding school and community. She has done so much for so many. We are extremely honored and proud to announce her as our November 2004 Volunteer of the Month!
