January 2006 Volunteer of the Month

Fred Thorlin

Fred Thorlin
Wilchester Elementary

Fred Thorlin, SBISD’s January Volunteer of the Month, brings out the joy and excitement of math for the Wilchester Elementary School’s fourth and fifth graders through his “Adventures in Math” (AIM) after school program. Students explore the fun side of math through games, song and even study of famous mathematicians.

For students who are ready for an extra challenge or a boost in their mathematical thinking, AIM is the perfect way to end the day!

Thanks, Mr. Thorlin, for your year-round dedication to our students!
