February 2008 Volunteer of the Month

Frostwood PTAFrostwood PTA

Frostwood Elementary

Devoting time, donating money and lending volunteers are all reasons why the Frostwood PTA is February’s Volunteers of the Month. The Frostwood PTA has adopted the Housman PTA and made many positive contributions. They have donated books for Housman’s annual Student Book Swap, helped set up for Housman’s annual PTA Rummage Sale and donated more than $2,000 worth of new books for the Housman library.

Frostwood has generously gathered volunteers for Housman to work at the Family Library Night and helped get volunteers to speak at the annual Career Day. For the past four winters, they have initiated a coat drive for the children of Housman who are unprepared for sudden cold fronts.

The Frostwood PTA has put forth great time and effort to keep Housman a successful school, making them our February Volunteers of the Month.
