Michelle Putnik
Michelle Putnik is an amazing Nottingham Elementary volunteer. Her volunteer service encompasses almost every aspect of need at Nottingham Elementary from staff to students. It is easy to find her at Nottingham because she is always helping with student council, school musicals, or lending a hand to various teachers for their classroom needs.
She worked tirelessly to make sure the teacher’s lounge was remodeled from a 70’s era style into a modern, state of the art, warm and relaxing environment for the staff. She did much of the labor herself, and sought out vendors that would donate products and services to achieve that goal.
She has been an active and motivating force on the PTA and served as the Chairperson for the Fall Carnival. She spent endless hours planning and organizing the entire event. Her efforts produced a carnival that was not only fun for the entire school, but raised record funds.
As a member of the Hospitality Committee, Michelle assists in organizing the monthly teacher appreciation luncheons, as well, as recognizing teachers for their birthday and throughout the year.
Michelle’s efforts contribute greatly to the morale of the school and remind them of the care and support that is found in the Notthingham community. Her hard work, leadership, and willingness to organize and carry through with multiple tasks, along with her positive attitude make Michelle an outstanding Volunteer of the Month.
