SBISD Maintenance will continue to raise its customer service standards; for we strive every day to improve on the day before.

The department is divided into six general sections which include shops and two support sections. Each section has its own responsibilities or shops, as well as providing support for each other’s efforts:

General Services Section:
Carpentry, Carpet, Masonry, Glass, Metal Fabrication, Metal Signage

Building Maintenance Section:
Plumbing, Painting, Roofing, Lock Smith, Venetian Blinds

Ground Maintenance Section:
District Ground(s) Maintenance, Tree and Shrub, Ground Drainage Systems, Small Engine Repair, Custodial Equipment Repair

Mechanical Section:
Heating and Cooling Air Conveyance Systems, Exhaust Systems, Fire Alarm Component Systems

Electrical Section:
Electrical and Generator Distribution Systems, Clock and Bell Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, Appliance and Refrigeration

Preventive Maintenance Section:
Air Quality and Integrated Pest Control Investigations, Hazardous Waste Removal, PM Equipment Maintenance Program

Maintenance Service Center: 
Maintenance Communications, Customer Work Request and Work Orders

Maintenance Parts Warehouse:
Maintenance Logistical Inventory, Surplus Warehouse, Loaner Chairs and Tables, Pickup and Deliveries
