Message from Police Chief Brawner

Police Chief Chuck BrawnerThe SBISD POLICE DEPARTMENT was established in 1987 as one the State’s first ISD Police Departments.

It provides 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, law enforcement and security services for over 50 campuses and facilities located within a 44 square mile area encompassing the Spring Branch Independent School District.

The SBISD Police Department is staffed with 32 Police Officers, as well as 8 civilian employees, and 3 K-9s.

SBISD Police Officers and civilian staff serve the District in an extensive scope of assignments including on site campus law enforcement, district patrol units, accident investigations, canine patrol, truancy, communications and security and alarm systems.

The SBISD Police Department is a highly trained, dedicated team of law enforcement personnel, all working toward the common goal of the Spring Branch Independent School District to provide a safe instructional environment
conducive for a quality education.
