Under the Texas Structural Pest Control Act, Spring Branch ISD has developed and adopted a Pest Management Policy. Based on this policy, the control of any pest in SBISD facilities, will be determined by Integrated Pest Management (IPM) procedures.

Only licensed certified applicators or licensed certified non-commercial applicators may control pests by the use of mechanical, physical, chemical, cultural or biological means. Pesticides are periodically applied indoors at all SBISD facilities. All pest management is overseen by the IPM Coordinator.

It is unlawful for individuals to apply or bring pesticides to any facility owned or controlled by SBISD.
