Enrollment Information Statistics 2007-2008
Requirements
To
be eligible to enroll in kindergarten, a child
must be five years old on or before September
1 of the current year. First graders must be six
years old on or before September 1. If you are
new to Spring Branch ISD, you must register for
classes at the school your child will be attending.

for the exact school your child will attend.)
Immunizations (Shots
required) All enrolling
students must meet all immunization requirements
before being permitted to enroll. The parent or
legal guardian is responsible for providing all
immunization documents for the enrolling student
before enrollment can be completed.
Acceptable immunization documents
are limited to official health records from the
previous school(s) attended and/or records verified
by a licensed physician or public health personnel.

School
Hours
The hours
for each campus may be found by selecting a campus
from this list.
Transportation
Free bus transportation
to and from school is provided for all publicly
funded programs for students in PreKindergarten
through grade eight and high school students who
must cross major thoroughfares. No transportation
is provided for the tuition based PreKindergarten
programs.
Local tax dollars support this
expanded transportation service, since the state
reimbursement is only for students who live more
than two miles from school. Copies of bus routes
are available at each school. For more information,

Emergency
Closings Under emergency
conditions caused by severe weather or a disaster,
it may be necessary to close schools. Local radio
and television stations will be notified immediately
if schools are closed. Parents should listen for
announcements and not call the school.
Only
school closings are broadcast. If no announcement
is made about Spring Branch schools, buildings
will open as scheduled.
