Our Middle Schools offer elective choices to 6-8 grade students, from one semester to 3 years. The students study the elements and principles of art through a variety of media including drawing, painting, sculpture, and printmaking. The studies are based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills as well as the National Standards. Curriculum is constantly being updated and revised for relevancy and interdisciplinary connections.

Our middle school art students have a number of opportunities to display and reward student achievement including the yearly administration building exhibit, the Rodeo, Scholastic, and Spring Shows, as well as the Dog Show and a number of other events.

Our teachers are dedicated and meet monthly to share ideas and learn of new opportunities for their students. Our students shine and excel in their achievements, not only in the state, but also in the nation. We have much to be proud of.
