Center
- Carries out state-required English language
testing for students new to SBISD who speak a
language other than English at home.
- Recommends program placement for students at
the home campus.
- Assists families with completion of school
registration forms and referrals to immunization
clinics and community services.
- Provides information to students and families
about educational programs and support services
available in the school district and community.

Parents are asked to come
by or call for an appointment.
Parents and students are needed to initiate
the registration process for students who speak
a language other than English.
What to bring?
1. Home Language Survey Form from
home campus.
2. Educational records from previous
school if available.
- Students arriving at a time where time might be
insufficient for completion might need
to return the following day to complete testing.
- High School students that arrive early could bring
their lunch and be picked up later by their parents/guardians.
