Welcome Center

• Carries out state-required English language testing for students new to SBISD who speak a language other than English at home.
• Recommends program placement for students at the home campus.
• Assists families with completion of school registration forms and referrals to immunization clinics and community services.
• Provides information to students and families about educational programs and support services available in the school district and community.

Hours of Operation:  8:00-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday

Parents are asked to come by or call for an appointment.

Parents and students are needed to initiate the registration process for students who speak a language other than English. 

What to bring? 
1.  Home Language Survey Form from home campus.
2.  Educational records from previous school if available. 

• Students arriving at a time where time might be insufficient for completion might need to return the following day to complete testing.

• High School students that arrive early could bring their lunch and be picked up later by their parents/guardians.
