Memorial High School Community Coordinator Position.- The Community Network sponsors and has funded a full-time Community Coordinator position at MHS to oversee and promote alcohol and drug awareness programs for MHS students and parents. We are pleased to have Pete Hinojosa returning to serve again in that position this year. Pete tirelessly oversees the MHS Drug Knot program; he has devised the curriculum for and taught the Mustang Mentor leadership classes at MHS; he is a frequent speaker at MHS programs for students and parents, and he presents numerous programs to other SBISD school and area community groups. Pete is enthusiastic and effective in communicating with both students and parents. We are fortunate to have him as a member of the MHS community and Community Coordinator for The MHS Community Network.
