SBISD Schools for Early Learning
To:

developmentally appropriate learning environment, which is inclusive
of young children, educators, and parents.

child-oriented, child-directed and teacher facilitated

a strong academic foundation and sets the stage for life-long learning
- creates a safe,
secure, positive, and nurturing environment for children and families
- fosters self-confidence,
awareness, discovery, and excitement for all learners
- builds collaborative,
on-going communication and efforts among educators, families, and
the community
- ensures seamless
transitions
- So that:
- Children are
successful and joyful learners; educators are supported and fulfilled;
parents are partners in their child's educational experience, all
to the benefit of the entire community.
