Restoring Credit

In the event that a student passes his/her class but loses credit due to excessive absences, credit can be restored through an Alternative Learning Activity (ALA). "Excessive absences" is defined as the student has missed more than 10% of the term, or has more than 5 absences per term.  ALA activities include, but are not limited to, community service, attending tutorials, and/or serving time in detention.
