TENTH GRADE
Tenth grade students should ensure required classes from ninth grade
are either successfully completed or included in this year’s
course requests. Tenth grade requirements include English
II, World History, the next sequential math class, and the next
sequential science class. Additional requirements that need
to be worked in over the next two years include PE, Health, Communications
Applications, and either a technology or fine arts course, if any
of these are not yet completed. Consider beginning or continuing
the study of foreign language. Choose electives with an eye
toward an ultimate career goal or college major. Take a required
full year technology courses or other full year programs to ensure
pre-requisites are being met. Meet with counselor to discuss
elective options to fulfill four-year plans.
