Special Programs
Private Music Lesson Program: Each year over 900 students study privately through a district-sponsored private lesson program which utilizes nearly 50 local artists and graduate students who teach at school sites at the rate of $16.00 per half hour.

ARTS Partners Grade Level Field Trips (All 2000-2400 students from each grade level see a professional performance or live exhibition in the theater or museum district each year.)

1st Grade:  Children’s Museum
2nd grade: Altharetta Yeargin Art Museum
3rd grade: Society for the Performing Arts Performance
4th grade: Museum of Fine Arts tours
5th grade: Houston Symphony Orchestra 
6th grade: Houston Ballet
7th grade: University of Houston Moores Opera
8th grade: Alley Theatre

 Partnerships
Local Businesses: Underwrite and sponsor "Running for the Arts" each year, adopt schools to provide artist residencies and after school programs

Local Arts Organizations: Young Audiences of Houston coordinates ARTS Partners, subsidizes in-school performances and donates much artist and staff time. Houston Symphony, Museum of Fine Arts offer ARTS Partners performances at no charge; Children's Museum and Alley Theatre heavily subsidize ARTS Partners field trips.

Other: University of Houston Moores Opera, in cooperation with Young Audiences works to present an opera specifically tailored to the needs of Spring Branch ISD.
