The Geology Hall
The Geology Hall houses a tremendous collection
of rocks, minerals, fossils and wall murals depicting a variety
of geological concepts and information. Of special interest
is a 33 foot Allosaurus dinosaur skeleton, the fluorescent
mineral exhibit and the "Renewable Energy Resources" exhibit
donated by the Texas Energy Extension Service. The energy
exhibit provides hands-on demonstrations on renewable energy
resources in Texas. Energy conservation methods are also
presented.
