The Science Center is locate in the Spring Branch Independent School District. Our address is 8856 Westview Drive, between Campbell Road and Bingle Road.

2. What are the Science Center's public hours?
The Science Center is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays. We are closed on weekends.

3. Can anyone visit the Science Center?
Yes! The Science Center is open to the public. However, groups should call in advance to make reservations. It is often best to make your reservations for the afternoon hours, as SBISD classes are regularly held at the Center during the morning hours. The exhibit hall hosting the class is closed to the public while these classes are in session.

4. Is there an admission charge?
No, admission is free

5. Do you have guided tours?
The Science Center does not provide guided tours. If a trip leader has never been to the Center, we suggest a visit to the Center prior to your trip to become familiar with the exhibits.

>When making a trip to the Science Center, you might plan on spending 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the age of the group you are bringing.

6. Are the animals in the exhibits real?
Most animals displayed at the Science Center are "real." Most are fully mounted specimens that have been donated to the Science Center. A few specimens are casts. Casts are fiberglass or plastic reproductions made from an actual specimen. Examples of the cast animals on display at the Center include the large Sea Turtle, the Bottlenose Dolphins, and the Sharks in the Oceanography Hall.

Most of the Science Center Animals used in the exhibits were donated. Some animals were found dead and donated to the Center, most of the game animals were collected by licensed hunters who later donated them to the Center.
