The Science Center is the perfect place for SBISD teachers to bring their classes for a "being there" experience. Each exhibit hall focuses on different aspects of Texas' natural science. To arrange a trip to the Science Center, call us at 713/365-4175. Transportation arrangements (including costs and bus requests) can be provided by the Science Center. Instruction and supervision of classes is the responsibility of the visiting classroom teachers. Activity guides and materials can be provided by the Science Center to those teachers who have made preparations in advance. Also, there are plans to provide distance learning opportunities, so that we may one day take the Science Center and all its resources into the classroom.
