Spring Board

Collegiate Challenge

Advocate.  Advisor.  Role  model.  Friend.

SpringBoard mentors in Spring Branch ISD assist students in grades 3 – 10  by offering guidance, encouragement and support.

They provide young people with the skills needed to address personal, school and home issues that may discourage them from reaching their potential.  In just 30-60 minutes weekly, mentors supply the gift of hope to those they touch and give young people a vision of success.

Changing lives that will change the future.

That’s what mentors do through Collegiate Challenge, a program to help high school juniors and seniors prepare for college.

Mentors help students with admissions, scholarships and financial aid applications, test preparation and career exploration.  In 90 minutes a week, mentors provide guidance and motivation to students, empowering them to become all that they can be.
