Employee Summary of Benefits 2006-2007


SBISD offers two HMO plans and two PPO health plans under Aetna Health Insurance.
 06-07 Aetna Health Insurance Rates, effective 10/01/2006

Comprehensive group dental insurance coverage is provided through National Pacific Dental (NPD - A United Healthcare Dental Company) for the DHMO plan and United Healthcare for the Indemnity plan.

Spring Branch ISD provides all benefit-eligible employees $10,000 of Basic Life and Accident insurance automatically through Unum Life.

Vision coverage is offered through Spectera Insurance Company.

Disability coverage is offered through Unum Life under their Educator Salary Protection Plan.

Cancer Plan is a new benefit offered through Allstate/American Heritage Life (Highlander Financial) with cancer and specified disease coverage.

Pre-Paid Legal is a new benefit plan that provides legal assistance for your whole family.


Flexible Spending Information
Flexible Spending Accounts are available for both health and dependent care eligible expenses through Boon Chapman.

Employee Assistance Program services provided by Aetna EAP.
