| Major Functions and Responsibilities: |
The person in this position is responsible for providing
summer school activities for children. |
| Examples of Key Duties: |
Adhere to the district's philosophy
of instruction.
Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter and classroom
management.
Utilize new materials, methodologies, philosophies and
innovations using those which suit the needs of the individual
students.
Incorporate the elements of effective instruction to achieve
maximum success in the classroom.
Assist in planning student activities, programs and field
trips.
Maintain clear, consistent and complete permanent records/reports
of student progress.
Create and maintain an environment conducive to learning
while supporting and complying with district/campus policies.
Relate to students, parents, staff, administration and
community professionally and perform other duties as assigned.

This person is directly responsible to the building
principal. |
| Qualifications: |
Ability to work collaboratively within TEAMS
Bachelors degree in related field
Preferred one year teaching experience in middle school
Valid Texas Teacher Certificate
Willingness to learn, acquire and apply new skills
Special talents encouraged
Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or Teaching Certificate
from out of state appropriate for position.
