Paraprofessional (Clerical, Teacher Assistant, Technical and Management) Application Process

Spring Branch Independent School District uses an online application system for the hiring process (Cover letters and résumés alone will not qualify applicants for employment).

Please use the following checklist to complete your Paraprofessional Application file with Spring Branch ISD.

Complete Online Application

  • The Online Paraprofessional Application will take approximately 30 minutes. Please have your work experience and reference information on hand. https://winweb.springbranchisd.com/AppEntry.exe

  • Please make sure your application is up-to-date (apply for current posted positions and update work experience, education, references, etc.)

  • Please indicate position in the Employment Preference section of the application

Review Qualifications for Position

  • Teacher Assistant Positions
    A copy of college transcripts verifying 48 college semester hours from an accredited university (Required for Teacher Assistant positions) OR
    High School Diploma/equivalent plus pass a District Highly Qualified Assessment. Applicants must call 713-251-2341 to schedule District Highly Qualified assessments.

  • Secretarial/Clerical Positions
    A copy of High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Must meet the Minimum Standard Assessment(s) - see job posting.
    The following assessment criteria will be used to establish minimum standards. Click here to view Minimum Standard Assessments. Applicants must call 713-251-2341 to schedule assessment(s).

  • Other Positions (including Technology, Management, Supervisory or Specialized)

Submit References

REFERENCES CAN BE SUBMITTED 2 WAYS:

  1. Electronic Form (Enter Email Address on Online Application):
    • Reference Forms will be sent out by the HR system automatically via email only if you enter the reference's email address of your two most current or recent supervisors/principals in the Reference section of the online application.
    • If you do not have the reference's email address, please follow the instructions below in #2 and enter 'N/A' for the email address in the Reference section of the online application.

  2. Download Form: Click here to download and print two Reference Forms and send forms to your current or most recent supervisor/principal.

Submit Supporting Documents

You will be able to electronically attach the following document files (rιsume, scanned transcripts, copies of credentials, letter of interest) to your application/profile. Follow instructions in the online application to attach documents to your file.

Check Application Status

  • Once you have met the position qualifications, your background check will be processed. When your background check is clear, your application will be activated in the system.

  • All principals/department head will have access to view your application. For each position, applications will be screened and the most qualified applicants will be called for interviews. Education, experience, test results and personal references are among the criteria that will be considered.

  • If you are not selected for the position in which you applied for, you may apply for other job vacancies by updating your online application.

  2. Click on the 'Check Application Status' link at the bottom of the page to view what documents are on file (resume, transcripts, letter of interest), reference status and application status.
