Substitute Orientation/Inservice
All substitutes must attend an orientation session prior to their first assignment. Also, a conference for substitutes is scheduled prior to the start of the school year, usually in August. Other sessions are scheduled periodically through the course of the school year. Administrative, instructional and support personnel provide these sessions to discuss district policies and procedures as well as to address concerns and questions that substitutes may have.

Substitutes are invited to attend selected professional growth courses and inservice programs offered by the District. These are offered without pay; however, both substitutes and student benefit from these programs.
