You helped us raise $71,000 for Spring Branch students and teachers! As a matter of fact, this year’s tournament – the 12th annual – was the most successful ever.

At the end of the day, Gary Cooper, Golf Classic chair and SBEF Board member, said, “I couldn’t be more pleased. We had 33 teams, and everyone enjoyed the day. Best of all we raised a lot of money that will benefit the district. Committee members and sponsors outdid themselves.

“Last year the Foundation granted more than $488,000 to SBISD schools; I hope the golf tournament will help us surpass that number this year.”

Golf Classic committee members include: Dr. Rudy Ramos, Ron Nunley, Gary Junek, Warren Matthews, Elizabeth Stein, Dennis Livesay, Ben Crawford, Cece Thompson, Mike Davidson, Brenda Stardig Patrick, Doug Rapier, Ted Nowak, and Mike Knox.

The committee offers special thanks to Ciro’s Italian Grill for providing lunch and to Goode Co. Seafood for providing dinner for golfers.
