Spring Branch Education Foundation Selects Committee for 2009 Crystal Award Gala
Spring Branch Education Foundation (SBEF) has announced committee members for its 16th annual Crystal Awards Gala slated for Friday, March 6, 2009, at The Westin Galleria. The event, “An Evening to Honor Teachers – Our Homegrown Heroes,” will recognize six outstanding educators selected from eight Gulf Coast counties, 46 Spring Branch ISD Teachers of the Year and 39 Wal-Mart Teachers of the Year for 2008.

The evening’s proceeds help SBEF provide educational and enrichment programs in Spring Branch ISD and benefit the Houston Chronicle’s Readers Are Leaders program. Wal-Mart is the Gala’s Platinum Crystal Underwriter.
