Top News: Enrollment Open for Virtual High School

Enrollment for the SBISD Virtual High School's 2010-11 Spring Semester is now open. Counselors are currently processing Virtual High School (VHS) enrollments for the Spring Semester. Courses fill fast, so begin the process early! Visit the Virtual High School website for enrollment information and all the latest news. There is minimal or no cost for SBISD students taking courses in the VHS program.

Visit the VHS website for more information, or email us at: eLearning@springbranchisd.com

What is the Virtual High School?

SBISD's Virtual High School (VHS) offers our students the opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom. VHS courses are designed using state standards for online learning. Our program is led by highly qualified faculty that are web-certified instructors expert in helping the distance learner achieve success.

The VHS program offers students flexibility and course options that will prepare them for life after high school graduation. The first step for students is to meet with their campus counselor. The counselor will then begin the process to determine if the student is eligible and ready for success in a virtual learning environment.

The Texas Virtual School Network:

Spring Branch ISD is excited to be part of the Texas Virtual School Network. Now all students in Texas have the opportunity to take courses in our Virtual High School program AND our students have access to classes offered by the top educators in the state. For more information about the Texas Virtual School Network, visit their website at txvsn.org/, then contact your counselor to enroll.
