2025 Bond Oversight Committee

Voters in Spring Branch ISD approved three of four propositions under the 2025 Bond totaling $558.6 million for improvements at the district's four comprehensive high schools and central athletics facilities.

The Charge

  • Ensuring the bond projects remain faithful to the priorities identified in the 2025 Bond Plan approved by voters on May 3, 2025.
  • Providing advice to the Board of Trustees on ways to maximize the potential of the 2025 Bond Plan and to provide the best value to the taxpayers of Spring Branch Independent School District.
  • Reviewing and evaluating, on a semi-annual basis, information from staff on all projects and expenditures of the bond funds on the timelines established in the 2025 Bond Plan.
  • Working with staff in assessing key campus stakeholders’ levels of satisfaction with the quality of work and rating of customer service (i.e. courtesy, knowledge and helpfulness of the bond project workers).
  • Reviewing and evaluating, on a semi-annual basis, a 2025 Bond Plan budget status report.
  • Providing an annual report to the Board of Trustees on the progress of the 2025 Bond Plan.

The updated Charge and Composition and the Membership for the BOC were approved by the board of trustees at the October 14, 2025 workshop meeting.
