Summer Camps 2022

Registration now open!  

Camps are open to ALL ELIGIBLE SPRING BRANCH STUDENTS!  Registration is not limited to students who receive GT services.

Each camp runs 4 days (Monday-Thursday).  All district facilities are closed on Fridays in the summer.

Snacks and water will be available at each camp. Parents should provide a daily sack lunch and drink for campers. 

All campers will receive a t-shirt!

ONLINE PAYMENT AVAILABLE!  When completing the registration form, you will be able to select the credit card or cash/check option.  An invoice will be emailed with further instruction.

Please complete a separate registration form for each child you register.  If registering a child for more than one camp, please complete a form for EACH camp.  

More information regarding health and safety protocols, drop-off and pick-up locations, and daily agendas will be shared closer to the events.

JUNE 6-9 @ ridgecrest ELEM

Rising 4th & 5th Graders

This camp is designed for English Language Learners and bilingual GT students to hone research, writing, and critical thinking skills in preparation for entering middle school this fall.

8 AM to 11 AM

Rising 2nd and 3rd graders

This camp will explore Scratch coding, which is a block-based coding language. It will have an emphasis on the science of sounds and circuit board coding.

June 13-16 @ Bendwood Elem.

12 PM to 3PM

Rising 4th and 5th graders

Campers will be introduced to Python coding through a series of fun projects. Python is a high-level, general-purpose programming language. This is a great first language to learn when exploring the coding world. Campers will create their own interactive game and several other fun projects.

Camp Pursuit is designed for rising 3rd through 7th grade students who are fueled by curiosity, loves to learn, and hungers for knowledge and engagement.

Rising 3rd-7th Graders

This is a skills camp designed for rising 3rd through 7th grade students. Campers stretch their creative problem-solving skills by working through 20 different classes throughout the week.

This camp is designed to inspire students to collaborate and problem-solve as they design, build, and test their projects.

This camp is appropriate for students who have completed 1st through 4th grades in the 2021-22 school year and have an interest in learning about connections between art, math and computer coding.
