Proposed Library Materials Procurement
In accordance with Board Policy EFB (Local) and Senate Bill 13, all proposed library materials being considered for purchase in campus media centers must be posted online for a minimum of 30 days to allow for public review and comment prior to board approval.
The public comment period for library materials being considered for purchase during the spring 2026 semester will be open from Jan. 5 through Feb. 5, 2026. All comments and feedback must be received by 11:59 p.m. Feb. 5, 2026. Following the public comment period, the list of proposed library materials will be presented to the Board of Trustees for approval at the next open meeting, as required by state law.

Proposed Library Materials Procurement List:
In accordance with Board Policy EFB (Local), campuses may purchase titles only from the final board-approved list. Please note that campuses may only purchase books from the board-approved list. Campuses may only select a subset of titles based on campus needs and will offer a parent preview period when the books arrive, prior to shelving.
