COMPUTATIONAL THINKING & ROBOTICS

Our vision is to introduce computational thinking skills to all students through the use of integrated CT lessons in grades K-8.  Computational thinking is a problem solving process.  It is essential to the development of computer science skills, but the thinking process can be applied in problem solving activities across all disciplines.

We plan to accomplish this by creating an integrated scope and sequence for grades K-8 that will focus on learning the computational thinking skills through core curricular problem solving.  Currently our team is in the process of developing the scope and sequence and planning learning opportunities for interested teachers.
