Assessment & Compliance
The department of Assessment & Compliance provides leadership for the district's accountability system through its assessment and research functions. It does this by ensuring compliance with the state and federal laws pertaining to assessment and research; providing training to staff; and developing, distributing, and reporting student assessment and research data.
Texas high school students now need to pass five end-of-course exams instead of 15 to meet state graduation requirements. High school students must complete tests in: Algebra I, English I, English II, Biology, and U.S. History.
