The office provides the following three levels of technical assistance to grant proposers:

Informational Assistance
Level One
Proposal up to $14,999

Assistance includes:

    • evaluation
  • organizers & checklists for different components of grants
  • tips and examples
  • Questions & Answers via e-mail
  • list of workshop sources
Technical Assistance
Level Two
Proposal of $15,000-$49,999

Assistance includes:

  • Information about funding sources
    • web links
    • print resources
  • Boiler plates and templates of commonly needed information:
    • budget
    • demographics
    • evaluation
  • organizers & checklists for different components of grants
  • tips and examples
  • Questions & Answers via e-mail
  • list of workshop sources
  • One coaching session per proposal upon request

 

Developmental Assistance
Level Three
Proposal of $50,000 per year or more

Assistance includes:

  • Information about funding sources

    • print resources
  • Boiler plates and templates of commonly needed information:
    • budget
    • demographics
    • evaluation
  • organizers & checklists for different components of grants
  • tips and examples
  • Questions & Answers via e-mail
  • Workshops
  • Contacting of funding sources to create relationships in key grant areas
    • Dept. of Ed
    • TEA
      and to clarify information through grant writing stages
    • verify and/ or negotiate time lines
  • Contacting agencies for critique sheets if proposal not yet funded
  • Collaborating on planning and design time line
    • evaluation design
  • Facilitation of editing process (clarity of criteria)
  • Contact for notification of award
  • Transition Support After Award of Grant to Implementation
