SBISD Athletics, in partnership with Kelly College Consulting, will host a College Athlete Recruitment 101 Informational Night at Don Coleman Coliseum (1050 Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77079) on Monday, September 11, 2023.

This event is open to all interested Spring Branch ISD high school and middle school student-athletes and their families. The event will begin at 7:00 p.m. and cover a wide range of topics essential to understanding and navigating the college athlete recruitment process.

Important topics that will be covered at the event including understanding the recruitment process, scholarships available at each level of play, questions to ask during college visits, academic eligibility and the NCAA Clearinghouse process, the role of social media in recruiting, effective communication with college coaches, the parent's role in the process, building an athletic resume, and a question and answer session to address any specific concerns.
