We are better together.

Dear SBISD families and community members,

Tonight and tomorrow, we will hold five graduation ceremonies and congratulate more than 2,500 students and their families for reaching this very important milestone in their lives.

For some, the journey has been easy. For others, making it across the finish line has been filled with struggles. For all these students, graduation is a major accomplishment. They will look back on their time in SBISD and remember the parents, teachers, principals, counselors, nurses, coaches, cafeteria staff, bus drivers, front office staff, and many others who helped them along the way.

Whether your child is completing pre-K or graduating from our school district, we hope this year has been successful and filled with new learning and experiences that will carry them forward to achieve at the highest levels, both in and out of school.

Thank you for being our most important partners in your children's education, volunteering in our schools, serving on committees, and advocating on our district's behalf throughout the 88th Legislative Session. Thank you for your trust in us and your Collective Greatness that makes our SBISD community THE best place in Houston to live, work, play, raise a family and educate children.

We have much for which to be proud as our students and our district continue to earn accolades in academics, athletics, the arts and more. Enjoy the video below highlighting all you have helped make possible.

From my family to yours, thank you for making this a great school year.

Have the best summer ever!
