How to become a SpringBoard Mentor

1. Apply to Be a Volunteer/Mentor:
Complete the SBISD Volunteer application here. Mentors and volunteers renew this registration annually.

2. Attend Training:
Once your application is approved (can take up to 10-business days), you will receive an email from the Community Engagement Department. New Mentor Trainings are offered from September through the end of February. Click here to sign up for a training!

3. Get Matched:
Once the application and training requirements are complete, you can be matched with a student (same gender) at the school of your choice to begin your mentoring experience!
