The Spring Branch ISD Dictionary Project, started in 2004, gives organizations and individuals an opportunity to put a dictionary in the hand of every 3rd grader in SBISD.

Why Dictionaries?

In an age where a dictionary can be at your fingertips in seconds, we maintain that a physical dictionary is one of the best gifts a child can receive in 3rd grade.

It is a tool they can and will use through their entire educational journey, and for many, it may be the very first book they call their own.
