SBISD Good Neighbor Program

Established in 2005, the Good Neighbor program encourages and recognizes SBISD superlative partners. What began as an inaugural class of 55 Good Neighbors has grown to a network of more than 200 partners today.

Good Neighbors complete 3+ activities in support of a the district, a school or the Spring Branch Education Foundation (SBEF) in a school year. SBISD connects and networks our Good Neighbors with each other and recognizes Good Neighbors through district communication channels, news stories and events. Good Neighbors also receive a physical and digital recognition item we hope you proudly display so the community celebrates your support!

Who is eligible?

Any corporation, local business, government entity, non-profit, faith-based organization, educational institution or individual who completes 3+ strategic activities in support of SBISD or SBEF in a school year.

Good Neighbors:

  • Believe that our schools and our communities are inextricably linked, with each dependent upon the success of the other.
  • Commit to accomplishing three or more activities over the course of the school year in support of the district, a campus, our teachers, our students or the Spring Branch Education Foundation.
  • Receive recognition of the Good Neighbor status in the form of publicity, recognition items, and other promotional opportunities.
  • Reapply annually to continue their commitment to SBISD and the Good Neighbor program.
