Get answers directly from college representatives! Students are able to interact with representatives from many colleges. This is a great opportunity to get personalized information about the experience you’d like to have in college!
Discover and explore new colleges not already on your radar! There will be 100+ schools at our fair and who has time to research them all?? You may be missing out on a college that might be the best fit for you!
Find out about financial aid! Colleges have basic information on their websites but it’s typically not exhaustive. If there is specific information you’re looking for to influence your ultimate decision, you can get those details by speaking with a representative.
Narrow down your list! It’s great to start off casting a wide net to schools you think would be good options, but take the time to ask
Save money on campus visits! While college fairs are not a substitute for visiting a college campus, attending one gives you a sneak peek into life at that particular school. You may be able to narrow down the schools you really want to step foot on before committing!

Prior to attending, review the list of schools participating. Decide which ones you definitely want to speak with and visit those first.
Take notes! You will be receiving loads of information and are not likely to remember all the details once you get home.
Ask questions (see notes below)
After the fair – be sure to go through all pamphlets and documents you received from the reps. Spend some time researching schools you may have discovered at the fair!
If you connected with any reps from schools you are particularly interested in, follow up with an email or phone call! Remember: that rep might be reading your application!
