What is THE Teacher Incentive Allotment?

In Spring Branch ISD, we are committed to investing in those who drive student growth, especially in priority subject areas.
Through the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), we recognize and reward educators who bring our T-2-4 Vision to life each day. SBISD’s TIA provides teachers with a clear, accessible pathway to earn higher compensation while continuing to do what they love most: teaching in the classroom.
This initiative not only elevates the teaching profession, but also gives districts the opportunity to celebrate and reward top-performing teachers through designations, recognition and financial investment.
The Teacher Incentive Allotment was established to provide an accessible pathway for effective teachers to earn more while remaining in the classroom. It is funded through Texas state law as part of House Bill 3 as a sustainable source of funding for districts.
