How We Communicate

Tools and Resources to Connect

With more than 35,000 students, 4,500 staff members and 47 schools, SBISD uses several tools to ensure effective and timely communication with parents, families, students and community members.

Phone, text & email alerts

SBISD uses School Messenger for phone calls regarding

  • attendance
  • school closings and delayed openings
  • emergency alerts and information
  • general school announcements
