Tools and Resources to Connect

With more than 35,000 students, 4,500 staff members and 47 campuses, ensuring that the right communication is distributed at the right time can be a challenge. That's why the SBISD Communications Office utilizes a number of tools to connect with stakeholders.

Phone & Text Alerts

SBISD utilizes School Messenger for automated phone calls regarding attendance, school closings and delayed openings, emergency alerts and information, and general campus announcements.  

Already have a student in SBISD? Check your alert and message settings in Family Access to ensure you're receiving important alerts.

In times of inclement weather or other types of emergencies impacting district operations, including delayed starts and school closures, the school district will contact parents and staff via multiple sources.
