The last day to register to vote in the Saturday, May 4, 2019, SBISD Trustee election is Thursday, April 4, 2019. To register or to find out whether or not you are already registered, please go to either of the following websites:

Trustee Positions 5, 6 and 7 are open for election. Position 5 is the only contested seat, with incumbent J. Carter Breed, 59, a real estate broker, facing a challenge from David E. Lopez, 25, a teacher.

Position 6 is held by Pam Goodson, 50, a community volunteer, who is unopposed for a fourth term.

Position 7 is held by Karen Peck, 56, an attorney, who is unopposed for a third term.

Early voting for the May 4 election is April 22 through April 30. On Election Day, SBISD voters cast ballots at their zoned middle school.
