The October Board Meeting opened with a look at two outstanding district events, Destination Success and the Good Neighbor 20th Anniversary Tailgate, both showcasing the power of partnership and hands-on learning across Spring Branch ISD. Watch video
Trustees also celebrated student achievement, safety leadership, and fiscal responsibility.
The district honored 28 National Merit Semifinalists, recognized Chief Larry Baimbridge and SBISD Police Officers Reginald Denson and Taylor Bryant with the SBISD FBI Threat Mitigation Task Force as 2025 Dr. Rod Paige School Safety Award winners, and thanked Campus Safety Officers for their dedication to maintaining daily readiness across all campuses.

Financial Management & Accountability
In addition, the Finance Department presented the district’s FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) rating, reflecting SBISD’s continued commitment to strong financial management and accountability. “This top rating gives our community confidence that SBISD remains a strong steward of public funds,” said SBISD Controller, David Bender.
