During the district’s summer months, scheduled bond projects continue at many schools and facilities. The summer closure and the absence of students and staff due to COVID-19 restrictions has led Spring Branch ISD to be able to move ahead with few disruptions. Construction-related work is deemed an essential service.
In November 2017, Spring Branch residents voted by an 80 percent margin for a $898.4 million bond issue to continue rebuilding and renovating school facilities and to provide districtwide improvements to all SBISD campuses.
